 The Utilitiy Operations Board oversees the creation, maintenance, upgrading and expansion of the Brunswick County water and sewer systems.  The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Commissioners regarding policies and procedures relating to the county's water and sewer systems and makes appropriate recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding citizen complaints, appeals, and requests as they relate to water and sewer service.

Mission
To exercise those certain powers delegated to it by the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners
concerning the creation, maintenance, upgrading and expansion of the Brunswick County water and sewer
systems.

Membership
All members serve 2-year terms
~ 1 member from each county district, appointed by the Board of Commissioners
~ 2 at-large members, appointed by the Board of Commissioners
~ 1 representative of the Town of St. James
