Background/Purpose of Request:
Brunswick County Schools wishes to pre-qualify contractors for the construction of the Town Creek Elementary School and Town Creek Middle School projects. In order to pre-qualify contractors for the various school projects, Brunswick County, in its capacity as owner, must approve a new pre-qualification policy.
The current Brunswick County Pre-Qualification Policy is drafted for Single Prime contracts. The school system and the construction manager, WM Jordan, have requested to use the State Construction Office pre-qualification forms, which are adapted for Construction Manager at Risk projects.
