Resolution Regarding Pending Legislation Impacting School Funding


Issue/Action Requested: Request that the Board of Commissioners discuss and provide direction to staff regarding the Resolution referencing K-3 Class Size Reduction recently adopted by the Durham County Board of Commissioners.

Background/Purpose of Request:

The Durham County Clerk to the Board forwarded a Resolution to all County Clerks asking that the Resolution be shared with all County Commissioners. The Resolution was shared with the Board of Commissioners as well as with the Board of Education, requesting feedback of estimated impact regarding K-3 Class Size Reduction.

The Resolution from Durham County is attached.
