Board Appointment - Town of Shallotte ETJ Planning Board


Issue/Action Requested: Request that the Board of Commissioners approve the Town of Shallotte's recommended appointment of Mr. Robert Cox as an ETJ member to the Shallotte Planning Board for a term expiring January 2021.

Background/Purpose of Request:

The Town of Shallotte requests that the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners approve an ETJ appointment to their Planning Board.

At their regular meeting on January 4, 2018 the Board of Aldermen voted to appoint Mr. Robert Cox as an ETJ Member to the Shallotte Planning Board. Mr. Cox's term will expire January 2021.

County Manager's Recommendation: Recommend that the Board of Commissioners approve the Town of Shallotte's recommended appointment of Mr. Robert Cox as an ETJ member to the Shallotte Planning Board for a term expiring January 2021.
