Request that the Board of Commissioners approve the licensing agreement for GIS mapping services with ESRI. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
Brunswick County has an established relationship with ESRI for providing the mapping software for our GIS department. These tools and services provided by ESRI are very beneficial to the continued growth of our GIS/mapping products within Brunswick County and to our citizens. The attached three (3) year license agreement is a continuation of prior agreements. The yearly fees are determined by population. For the new agreement period our population increase has moved us into a higher user fee. For the past three (3) years we have been charged $75,250 per year. The new agreement will be a charge of $90,000 the first year, $110,000 the second year and $130,000 the third year. Funds to cover this license agreement have been included within the budget request. |
