Request that the Board of Commissioners approve a lease for the probation and parole office in Southport. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
The county is required to lease space for the NC Department of Probation and Parole. The lease for the Southport Probation and Parole office located at 800 N. Howe Street, Southport, NC is for approximately 750 square feet. The current lease expires on June 30, 2021. The monthly rent increased from $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 due to an increase in the insurance on the Leased Premises, per the Landlord. The monthly cost is now $1,200.00. |
