Operation Services - Integrated Supply Amendment (Stephanie Lewis, Director of Operation Services)

Issue/Action Requested:

Request that the Board of Commissioners approve an amendment to the Integrated Supply Agreement with Atlantic Auto & Marine Inc. (d/b/a NAPA Auto Parts).

Background/Purpose of Request:

The Integrated Supply Agreement previously approved on July 16, 2018 allowed Atlantic Auto & Marine, Inc. to continue to provide an on-site NAPA store at the location of the Brunswick County Service Center.  This agreement allows Brunswick County to reduce inventory investment, provides lower transaction costs and increases shop productivity.  With this contract Brunswick County purchases parts and supplies at cost plus 10% gross profit and pays a management fee of approximately $66,000 per year.  The amendment references the new Sourcewell contract number and the term auto renews through the term of the Sourcewell contract.

 

Funds are budgeted in 104250-425200, 104250-426002, 104250-435200 and 104250-435300.  The management fee is budgeted in 104250-439900.
