Background/Purpose of Request:
Development is key to the economic growth and financial stability of the residents of Brunswick County. In order for this continued growth to occur, the appurtenant water and sewer infrastructure is required. Brunswick County has over $250 million in ongoing Utilities projects in design and construction. The presentation will provide status updates on these key projects.
Primarily, updates will be provided for the Northeast Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion and associated transmission force mains, the Northwest Water Treatment Plant Expansion & Advanced Treatment, the Northwest Water Treatment Plant concentrate pipeline, the MAP/ILP sewer & pumping station, the Shallotte Water Transmission Main, and the West Brunswick Regional Wastewater System Expansion. |
