Request that the Board of Commissioners' approve the worker's compensation insurance coverage proposal from the North Carolina Association of County Commissioner's Risk Management Pools (NCACC). |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
Partnering with the NCACC has provided a successful worker compensation program for the past two years since transitioning from a self insured program. This year's renewal comes with a decrease of approximately $40K from last years proposal of $1,012,904., reflecting a 4% decrease in premium contribution with the same level of coverage. Brunswick County continues to hold a favorable experience modifier and a strong safety culture with management support to enhance occupational safety. |
