Request that the Board of Commissioners approve and authorize the County Manager to sign an agreement with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the protection, development and improvement of forest land in Brunswick County. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
In past years, Brunswick County has entered into agreements with the State for the protection, development and improvement of forest land. The FY21/22 budget appropriation of $270,109 represents the County's share of the annual budget of $675,272.50 for carrying out the work in Brunswick County and the county is billed monthly. The State has provided an agreement for FY21/22 and requests that the County execute said agreement. |
