Request that the Board of Commissioners award a one year agreement with four auto-renewals for post-disaster aerial mosquito services prepositioning agreement to Vector Disease Control International, LLC. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
The post disaster aerial mosquito control service agreement is a pre-positioned agreement with no funding associated with the agreement for the purpose of assisting the county in the event of a disaster such as a hurricane. The request for proposals was advertised three times. Two proposals were received in response to the final request for proposals. Vector Disease Control International, LLC was considered the lowest responsible bidder at $2.07 per acre. The bid tabulation is included. |
