Background/Purpose of Request:
Designated North Carolina Map Review Officers regularly review and approve plat maps prior to recording to ensure compliance with state standards. The North Carolina General Statues require all counties to designated Map Review Officers via resolution.
The resolution must be updated and amended to reflect staffing changes. This resolution will amend the NC Map Review Officer Resolution of September 15, 1997, to add the names of Nicole Morgan and Gilbert Combs. It will further amend the Resolution by removing the names of Robert Lewis and Sharon Elwood. These changes will help ensure maps are reviewed in a timely manner. The Planning Department will coordinate with the State of North Carolina on future training sessions for Map Review Officers. |
