| | | | | | | | Issue/Action Requested: Request that the Board of Commissioners approve a lease agreement and a sublease agreement for 3 years beginning August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2025 to provide office space for NC Department of Public Safety Probation and Parole at no cost to the state agency. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request: The NC Department of Public Safety requested to renew leases for county provided property in Brunswick County. The lease agreement is a "no cost" lease agreement for approximately 900 square feet of space located at 310 Government Center Drive, Unit 8, Bolivia, NC. The sublease agreement is a "no cost" sublease agreement for approximately 3,000 square feet of space located at 125 Division Drive, Leland; approximately 800 square feet of space located at 800 N. Howe Street, Southport; and approximately 2,943 square feet of space located at 5300-1 Main Street, Shallotte. Brunswick County has current leases on all properties included on the sublease agreement. |
