Administration - Resolution for International Logistics Park Left Turn Lane

Issue/Action Requested:

 

Request that the Board of Commissioners consider approving a resolution asking NCDOT to provide economic development funding for a left turn lane on US74/76 W. at the NC International Logistics Park.

Background/Purpose of Request:

 

 

NCDOT staff have indicated to BBID that a job-creation based grant to fund the left turn lane can likely be funded, but that one of the requirements is a resolution from the Board of Commissioners requesting the funding. The proposed resolution is attached.
