Action Item # V. - 14.

Request Brunswick County Board of Commissioners approve the (attached) Amendment to the Agreement adopted on 06/29/22 with CivicPlus allowing for multiple modules of the CivicPlus platform to be covered under the same Agreement. Also requesting approval of the (attached) Statements of Work for CivicEngage (Outsourcing of County Website) and CivicGov (for use by Planning Department for planning, zoning and code enforcement). 

On 06/29/22, Brunswick County Board of Commissioners approved the Agreement with CivicPlus to implement the CivicClerk platform to replace Novus Agenda.  That effort is currently  underway. Two additional modules  are being requested (1) CivicEngage which will replace the current County website and (2) CivicGov which will be the platform used by the Planning Department to digitize their planning, zoning, and code enforcement processes. 

Funding for the CivicEngage effort was approved with a current FY23 budget appropriation in the IT Budget (104210-439900) $ 46,945.92.

Funding for the CivicGov effort was approved with a current budget appropriation in the Planning Budget (104910-426010) $ 59,000.00

Annual recurring services are subject to 5% annual increase. These will be included in FY24 IT Budget request under 104210-444000 (Maintenance and Support). CivicClerk: $11,130.00 will be included in this budget request, as well as, CivicEngage: $ 11,413.76 and CivicGov: $39,900.00
