Request that the Board of Commissioners approve the 2022-2023 Home and Community Care Block Grant for Older Adults (HCCBG) package including the funding plan, grant agreement, Attachment B Federal Certifications, form CD-511, disclosure of lobbying activities, and the county designation of Brunswick Senior Resources Inc. (BSRI) as lead agency for aging services. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
The HCCBG Allocation Page, and the 2022-2023 HCCBG Funding Plan for Brunswick County is attached for review and approval. Local match is provided through funds committed to BRSI as the Lead HCCBG agency for the county by approval of the 2022-2023 Budget Ordinance. No additional county funding is required.
Additional approvals requested and attached include the Attachment B Federal Certifications, form CD-511, disclosure of Lobbying Activities, and county designation of lead agency for aging services.
Staff recommends approval of the 2022-2023 HCCBG for Older Adults county funding plan, grant agreement, designation of lead agency, and associated requested forms to complete the HCCBG 2023 budget and contract grant package. |
