Request that the Board of Commissioners approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Becker Morgan Group, Inc. design contract in the amount of $1,057,000 and the Construction Manager at Risk Barnhill Contracting Company construction contract in the amount of $22,274,068 for the North Brunswick High School Addition. |

Brunswick County Schools Operations Committee approved the contracts on August 23, 2022 and staff recommends the contracts with Becker Morgan design contract in the amount of $1,057,000 and the Construction Manager at Risk Barnhill Contracting Company construction contract in the amount of $22,274,068 for the North Brunswick High School Addition be executed by the Board of Commissioners. Similar to past CMAR contracts, only the portion of the contract for Pre-Construction services in the amount of $147,459 will be initially authorized. Any additional work will be authorized in writing with a contract change order. The contracts are fully funded by bond proceeds. |
