Request the Board of Commissioners approve Notification and Grant Application Evaluation Form for the (FY) 2022 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP). |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
Brunswick County was notified that the (FY) 2022 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) was approved for funding. North Carolina Emergency Management (recipient) will be issuing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to Brunswick County (subrecipient) in the amount of $15,000 to purchase (1) mobile light tower as part of the Disaster Preparedness Region 3 preparedness initiatives. This funding will allow for improved capabilities related to Homeland Security and disaster preparedness. The MOA will be presented at a future board meeting for formal approval and appropriation. |
