Request that the Board consider approving the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Boiling Spring Lakes for the County to provide $3,000,000 to support the City's dam restoration projects. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Purpose of Request:
On June 22nd of this year the Board approved an appropriation of $3,000,000 to the City of Boiling Springs Lakes and authorized staff to develop an Interlocal Agreement with the City to provide the funding in increments of $750,000 in each of FY 24, 25, 26 and 27. The agreement contains provisions that would delay or withhold the funding each year if the project is has not begun or is not making satisfactory progress. The attached agreement to implement the requested action has already been approved by the City and awaits approval by the Board. Also attached is a copy of the relevant June 22 agenda item. |
